More than twenty artisans and artists have chosen to join the Oisans Route des Savoir-Faire, including makers of musical instruments and leather goods, sculptors, ceramic artists, dressmakers, mosaic artists and painters. The list of skills and personalities waiting to be discovered is impressive!
So what exactly do they have in common? They are all professionals, passionate about their trade, who want to pass on, explain and share their savoir-faire.
And what ethics do they share? The way in which they choose their materials and respect their creations, together with the intelligence of their creative processes all prove that creative arts promote strong values that are a far cry from standardised manufacturing.
