Around the Signal de l’Homme, the Col de Sarenne or at the Plateau d’Emparis: sun, panoramic views and gentle slopes await you.
Les Grandes rousses
Les Grandes Rousses faces north/south, the summit is the Pic Bayle at an altitude of 3465m. It overlooks the Isère, Hautes-Alpes and the Savoie, and there is a wide variety of ski-touring itineraries here.
The plateau d’Emparis
This plateau resembles an Arctic tundra and is an extraordinary place in Oisans. It can be found in the Grandes Rousses Massif, opposite the Écrins, and from here the view of the Meije and Râteau is breath-taking, maybe even one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the Alps. There are not many access points, which means there are not many visitors to this wild sector.
