In winter-time, a stay in this part of the high mountains, home to many mountaineers, is an opportunity to enjoy ski touring or ice climbing and to explore the wild side of the Écrins National Park. The Vénéon valley is unspoilt and remote in winter; a paradise for those looking to take a real break from everyday life.

This comfortable base camp opens the doors to the Écrins massif... which sums it up. The chalet blends in seamlessly with the environment and respects
nature. It features a wood-burning stove that is perfect for romantic evenings, as well as cosy comfort, Alpine decoration and views over the summits Lauranoure, Arias and Fétoules, as if you could touch them. The starry evenings are a delight when seen from the balcony. No light pollution, no noise pollution... in fact, no pollution at all. Here people rest, take their time and live at nature's pace. Spend a week far from everything, close to the local mountain people and sharing their way of life.
