The Lac du Verney, between Belldonne and the Grandes Rousses, provides a range of watersports in the summer and is the perfect place to enjoy a picnic with family and friends. It is also the starting point for a lovely walk.

Description: Lac du Verney
The Lac du Verney lake is a 75 ha lake located at an altitude of 725 metres and of variable depth. The dam, which was built between 1979 and 1984, is a hydro-electric power station with its own museum open to the public. Follow the left-hand bank preferably and at the end, follow the road for around 500m, before turning left towards Villaret. Swimming is not allowed.
