Located at the foot of the Lautaret pass, between peaks and glaciers, the Domaine Nordique du Pays de La Meije is a unique and wild place. Enjoy outdoor activities, and night in the heart of this majestic nature.

The chalet of the northern domain offers an info point on this domain in the middle of nature at the gates of the Écrins national park
You will live in a preserved place that favors contemplation, under the benevolent eye of chamois, hermines, white hares and foxes.
The area is ideally suited for a variety of outdoor activities:
- Cross-country ski trails (relatively flat): divided into three loops of 3, 7 and 10 km with diversified profiles, but rather easy.
- Laser biathlon
- Pedestrian route: Villar d'Arène - La Gravière (8 km)
- Snowshoe trail: the tour of the hamlets of Villar d'Arène (11 km).
- Toboggan runs: one in Arsine and one on the site of Jouvencelles, opposite Villar d'Arène
- Ski Hockey: play a game with family or friends, The hockey equipment (you must bring your skis) is available at the chalet every weekend and Wednesday outside school holidays and all mornings during school holidays.
-A pulka (small sleigh) is available at the chalet
The sun is shining high on the peaks in the middle of winter, and the site enjoys excellent snow quality as well as good snow cover throughout the winter season.
Reminder: Friends pedestrians and hikers in snowshoes, respect the dedicated spaces. The cross-country ski runs are strictly reserved for skiers (Municipal decree of 11/01/1986)
Welcome: The welcome chalet of the Nordic Area and the departure of the slopes there, and the toboggan run, are accessible to people with reduced mobility.
No toilet or room outside the bag in the cottage.
