Adele Planchard is this lady who bequeathed his fortune to build the refuge, punctuating the ascent itirenary of the Grande Ruine.
Despite its "high mountain" environment , its long access walk is simple and beautiful.
About : Adele Planchard Mountain Hut
From the refuge, you have a beautiful view of the row of Summit Peak Neige Cordier to La Roche Méane which rises to 3765 m (Pointe Breevort). Pied du Col access pass (5h) on a marked trail. During Summer there is no need of technical equipment.
Welcome: Reservations required during guarding period, 53 places - common room, dormitories, WC (Winter 26 places off guarding) - room and dormitory access 5h from the Pied du Col hamlet (1500m vertical drop) In a pasture medium mountain facing the mountains of Les Agneaux and Roche Méane to the source of the Romanche then the path up towards the Grande Ruine to the refuge
