A quiet and bucolic walk at the foot of the cliff, in the sun in the morning and in the shade in the afternoon. An almost flat itinerary except for the last section which climbs to the waterfall on a forest path.

ITINERARY :
In Bourg d'Oisans, go past the Post Office, on your left, towards the church. At the foot of the church, follow the road towards "Venosc" et "Villard-Notre-Dame". At the end of the rue Humbert, follow the road on the left "chemin de St-Claude", and not the road on the right which climbs up to the village of Villard-Notre-Dame (a must-see! but get in the car... The balcony road is narrow and suspended, a typical trip in the Oisans).
For 2 km you will follow a tarmac road, then for a more natural route look out for a path on the right which joins the road a little further on. Once you arrive at the barrier you are at the starting point of the "Voie Verte" also departure point of the canoe or paddle rides on the peaceful river "La Rive" which crosses Bourg-d'Oisans. From here on, you keep the cliff on your righthand side up to the waterfall. You then leave the "Voie Verte" to follow the yellowsign "Cascade de la Pisse" which goes up to the right by a forest path.
Return by the same path, do take a detour to the lake of Buclet and its luminous turquoise blue waters!

INTERESTING TO KNOW:
The Rive springs are so pure that they could be bottled.
