A wild valley starting from the hamlet of Les Etages and ending in a glacial cirque in the heart of the Ecrins National Park.
About : Vallon des Étages
ROUTE :
At the hamlet of Les Etages, the path is on your right. Descend through the hamlet to the bridge that crosses the Vénéon torrent at the bottom of the village. Take the path in front of you on the left bank of the Vallon des Etages. After a 20-minute climb, follow Vallon des Étages on the right bank. For the return journey, stay on the right bank as far as Les Étages.

The Écrins massif is an exceptional area, open to all, with a rare natural, cultural and landscape heritage. WHAT TO KNOW:
You can walk to the foot of the moraine to admire the cirque created by the glacier and its summit, "La Pointe du Vallon des Etages".
In some summers, a herd of donkeys is present in the Vallon.
