An essential mountain hike during your summer stay! This circuit, easily accessible with the gondolas, will make you discover the wonders of the Massif des Grandes Rousses. In this mineral and wild landscape, let yourself be absorbed by the unique atmosphere of this vast & natural plateau. At the start of the hike, enjoy the view of the Lac Blanc!

Possibility of a stop at noon at Refuge de la Fare. Departure from Lac de la Fare, follow the trail OBP No. 262 to l'Alpette.

TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS :
Start: DMC2 2700m (take a pedestrian pass)
Distance: 7km
Altitude difference: about 200m
Duration: 2.5 hours
Maximum altitude: 2800m
Markup accuracy: From Oz Station, take the Poutran gondola up to 2100m, then the DMC2 up to 2700m. Follow trail 263 through Lac du Milieu to Lac de la Fare. Retrace your steps to the Lac Blanc, descent by the lifts: DMC2 + Poutran or TPH2 2800m + Alpette.

INTERESTS: Glacial lakes, fauna, flora, views of the Massif de la Muzelle, Belledonne, Taillefer

TO KNOW: These lakes resulting from the glacial digging have been cleared only for a few centuries. It is for this reason that the vegetation is rare, the soil being poor and not very thick.
