Explore the shores of the Lac du Verney as far as the suspended footbridge and on to the Hydrelec museum. On bikes with the children or with a pushchair - it's flat all the way!
About : The Verney lake banks – Walk
The circuit goes along the lake (left-hand side), arriving first at the watersports centre (windsurfing, pedal boating and SUP in July and August). Next to the watersports centre, there are picnic tables, a solarium and a children's playground.
After the "Guinguette" restaurant on the waterfront, continue on the path to the footbridge over the lake to the Hydrelec Museum, which is really worth a visit.
Or continue along the shoreline to the end of the lake. Then you have the choice:
-either to head back to the same way
-or, at the end of the lake, go through the red gate and up the road for 200m, then take the road on the left, called the "Route du Villaret". Follow it until you reach a small bridge after the hamlet of "La Drayrie". About 100 m after the bridge, go down to the left, follow the stream and go back to the lake shore.
