Trail races have sprung up all over the region, where vertical kilometres go hand-in-hand with winding tracks and where trail runners and chamois become indistinguishable!
As soon as the snow melts, trail races get going, from family events to the Ultra Tour des 4 Massifs (UT4M). Thousands of running shoes criss-cross the immense mesh of paths in Oisans. In winter “white” trails are organised and there is even a crazy relay race combining ski mountaineering and trail running!
