Col d'Ornon (1350-1900 m), situated just at the entrance to the Ecrins National Park, is the smallest ski resort in the Oisans. Here, far away from the crowds, all winter sport activities are available in an unspoilt environment.

About : Col d’Ornon ski area

The resort, located right in the heart of nature, allows you to ski during the day at reasonable prices, and it has very popular night skiing. There are 8 ski slopes (3 green, 1 blue, 2 red and 2 black) served by 4 drag lifts. It is a family orientated resort where you can ski away from the crowds, and whether you are a beginner or an experienced skier, there is something for everyone. The Col d'Ornon has some of the steepest black slopes in the area !

The Col d'Ornon ski resort also proposes a novel concept : whether it be for a business, a club, an association, or a group of friends, you can privatise the resort for an evening, a whole day, or even longer. You can rent the resort outside of the public opening hours in January, February and March (school holidays, weekends and Wednesday afternoons are excluded).

Also the first resort to offer its customers a season ski pass that is both wide-ranging and generous. Wide-ranging as it covers both downhill skiing and cross country skiing, and generous as it can be passed from one person to another ! Only one person can use it at a time, but that person (friend, family..) has unlimited use. Such flexibility is all part of the family nature of the Col d'Ornon ski resort.

The resort has a superb cross country ski area, made up of 22.5 km of ski trails in the heart of the forest, as well as 20 km of snow shoe walks and an orienteering circuit that can be done either in snow shoes or on skis. There are many other activities in the resort, such as the ice waterfalls and dogsledding

Tips

The Gold Pass for only 132€ ! A ski pass without a photo, that can be passed on. It can be used by friends, or family, or both ! Valid for both the downhill and cross country skiing areas.
