Sophie Dode Artiste Peintre

Sophie Dode works in her studio located a few minutes from Les 2 Alpes.
Between landscape and abstraction, her creativity is nourished by the landscapes that surround us, the mountain, its lights, nature through the seasons.
The "landscape" then becomes a springboard, from which this artist rushes towards the form, the colour, the line.
Sophie Dode's paintings speak of space, of the moment, of light. But also of our inner movement in the contemplation of nature... of those emotions of reconnection to oneself, to our dreams, to the beauty of the moment.
This passionate artist lovingly produces her own paints, based on acrylics and pigments, decanting the water used in her practice, and sorting the waste from the workshop, in an environmentally conscious manner.
