At an altitude of 1630 m, the Col d'Ornon Nordic ski area offers pleasant trails winding through a magnificent alpine forest. On either side of the valley, marvel at the peaks of Taillefer, Grand Armet, Tête des Filons and Vallon.

Just 1 km from the Col d'Ornon alpine resort, you'll find the Nordic ski area parking lot where departures take place. And there's something for everyone!
- Classic and skating cross-country skiing
The 4 marked trails are ideal for beginners and experienced cross-country skiers alike! They are groomed for skating and alternating:
the 2-kilometer green run
the 4-kilometer blue
the 6-kilometer red
the 10-kilometer black trail (one loop of the black trail is ungroomed for Nordic hiking).
Good to know: the Nordic site can be reached from the Plan du Col via a 500 m link.
- Snowshoeing
Discover 7 marked snowshoe trails: from 800 m (the easiest) to 5.4 km (the longest).

Cross-country ski passes are compulsory. They can be purchased from the Gîte Le Chantelouve (04 76 80 44 82).
Adult day ticket: €8
Adult week: €40
Child day: €5
Weekly child: €20
Annual adult NORDIC PASS: €50
Free for children under 3 and over 75.
On-slope pass (when checked) 15€ adults and children.
