Villard Reculas was the very 1st resort to be connected to Alpe d’Huez, but over time it has developed its very own ski area, and today can offer everything you need for a fantastic winter holiday: a dozen slopes of varying difficulty (20 km), a ‘jardin d’enfants’ children’s area, pedestrian or ski-touring trails and automatic snow cannons, for guaranteed snow cover. If you would like to experience the joys of “off-piste” skiing, the Espace Freeride de La Forêt awaits with a stunning view of the valley down below and untouched snow.

Alpe d’Huez grand domaine Ski

For fans of mountain sports, the Villarais chairlift will take you to the 250 km of slopes at the Alpe d’Huez Grand Domaine Ski. In less than 8 minutes, you can reach the famous fun slope, “Marcel’s Farm” and ski over to Alpe d’Huez at your own pace. The vast area then stretches out before you, all the way to the Pic Blanc (3,300 m)!
