In spring 2024, the refuge is open but not guarded. However, places are limited, so reservations are essential.
About : Refuge du Châtelleret – non gardé – 2024
As the Etançons valley has been severely damaged by bad weather in 2023, the Châtelleret refuge cannot open as before, but the FFCAM is doing its utmost to offer you the refuge at the very least.
Instructions for use of the refuge for spring 2024:
!! MANDATORY RESERVATION for all!
The FFCAM provides :
- an 18-person dormitory
- a dining room
- blankets
- some crockery and bowls for melting water
- an outdoor dry toilet
Not available :
! no gas
! no heating
! no water
The site will be regularly monitored by FFCAM volunteers, park staff and guides.
