A long descent takes you to the hamlet of Sardonne and its panoramic view over the Eau d'Olle and Romanche valleys. You can then continue along the path to Allemond and take the Eau d'Olle Express cable car back up.

About : From Oz Station to Sardonne

The first place to go is the Reynaud meadow, following the carpet from the station and then the signs. The meadow is an ideal spot for picnics!

Then continue down into the forest, following the signs for ‘Sardonne’ via ‘Chasterand’. You will come to a forest road. Once you have passed through the hamlet, continue past the wash-house to the hamlet of La Voûte. Go up the road for a short distance, then down the path on your left, towards Allemond, and cross the bridge.

Walk along the river for a few metres until you reach the cable car departure station. Take the Eau d'Olle Express back up to the station.

The walk takes around 2 hours. It is also possible to walk back up the mountain via the Montée d'Oz or the Chasterand, but this will take you an extra 2 hours and 600m of ascent.
