The religious missions initiated by the Church were particularly common in the nineteenth century. These events, which included ceremonies and processions, gave rise to the construction of the cross, or as here, a statue of the Virgin. Vierge du Collet provides a good resting point as well as the fantastic view of the valley and the Tête des Fétoules.
