Fête des Minéraux

For its 10th anniversary, the Fête des Minéraux will be offering an original program of free events at the Cinéma Les Ecrins (lectures, wellness workshops, evening film and play screenings...).

ANNIVERSARY DATE: 2014-2024!
3 days to celebrate 10 YEARS of FDM, the largest alpine mineral show.

This anniversary will be marked by a number of new features, with a program designed to stimulate the senses
New workshops... (designer jewelry, photography, well-being...)
Conferences... Film... Theater... New exhibitions...
Along with evening cinema, theater will also be part of the festivities at the :
Festival des Minéraux à Bourg d'Oisans: 3 days (and evenings) of festivities dedicated to minerals

LA FETE DES MINERAUX 2024:
The 10th edition of the FETE DES MINERAUX will feature an original programme of events dedicated to
of discovery: a unique polar exhibition... a scientific-burelesque play... a mountain adventure film... A program that gives pride of place to entertainment
and cultural immersion for the whole family.
The "Plus Grand Salon de Minéraux Alpins" takes place in BOURG D'OISANS (38520), at the foot
Alpe d'Huez, the last weekend in April before MAY 1st (FRIDAY 26, SATURDAY 27 & SUNDAY
APRIL 28).
A place with a prestigious mineralogical past, it's the setting for a 3-day event to
a unique universe, where personalities and specialists
content or give us a glimpse of the wonders of the earth.
THE 2024 PROGRAM :
1/ - The SALON /Exhibition and sale of minerals (at the FOYER 10am/6pm), with the:
- CRISTALLIERS from the Oisans and Mont-Blanc regions
- MINERALS from France and around the world
- Designer JEWELRY (Mother's Day gift ideas)
- STONES & JEWELRY for well-being.
And also:
- PRESTIGE WINDOWS (Private Collections of the latest discoveries)
- POSTER EXHIBITIONS since the origins of the Bourg d'Oisans bourse in 1975
- KIOSQUE des ECRIVAINS and book signings by speakers
- DEMO WORKSHOPS: Gem cutting, designer jewelry...
- CHILDREN'S WORKSHOPS: La Gardette crystal treasure hunt, gold digging...

4/ FESTIVAL DES MINERAUX evenings: the festivities continue into the evening at CINEMA LES ECRINS
with the screening of films about the mountains...and theater too!

FREE for children under 12 (accompanied)
- CITY CENTER and CINEMA LES ECRINS (10am/6pm): fashion shows, scientific conferences,

- IN THE EVENING (from 7pm), at CINEMA LES ECRINS: FILM and THEATRE / FREE ENTRY
NEW for 2024, FDM is celebrating its 10th anniversary with :

"Les soirées du FESTIVAL DES MINERAUX" at CINEMA LES ECRINS (from 7pm):
After visiting the mineral show (in the foyer until 6pm on all 3 days), the Festival continues at the
cinema with :
- FRIDAY: Film "L'Etoile Filante-Marco Siffredi" and debate with producer Séverinne Gauci
- SATURDAY: Theatre LA COMPAGNIE DU GRAVILLON with "La Circonférence des particules".
