Pierre Gioria welcomes you into his workshop to show you his works of art and world of design. He produces a range of work inspired by surrealism, mythology and nature. His favourite materials are wood, stone, clay and plaster.
About : Demonstration of sculpture in wood
He organizes this event as part of the “Oisans Route des Savoir-faire”. This "Route" brings together all the artisans, artists, producers and cultural sites of Oisans that are willing to open the doors of their workshop, farm or museum to share knowledge with the general public. The “Oisans Route des Savoir-faire” opens the door to Oisans mountain culture, the richness of its heritage and the many facets of local expertise. Following the winding roads, you will be able to enjoy varied scenery and meet vibrant local characters. Above all, you are sure to appreciate the quality of their work and a taste of their produce!

Tips
For those who wish to go further, I can offer you a beginner workshop with a selection of pre-formed designs. You will discover the joy of creating figurative or abstract shapes and volumes. You can take your work home with you.
Workshop for children : all year by appointment.
Beginner workshop for adults : From 10 am to noon or 2 pm to 5 pm - All year by appointment. 3 people max.

From Bourg d'Oisans, take the RD 1091 towards Grenoble.
Drive through the village of Rioupéroux, then take the road on the right to "La Salinière".
Go up to the village and once at the school square, take the "Rue Champ Brochin" on the roght.
Pierre's house is number 21.
