Located on the 1st floor of the foyer municipal - in the salle de l'Or de la Gardette - this temporary museum presents the "Minéraux des Alpes" collection.
Don't hesitate to discover and rediscover the minerals in our magnificent collection!
"The Oisans landscape bears the traces of six centuries of mining history. The massif's many deposits have produced some remarkable specimens:
gold and quartz from Gardette, axinite from Armentier, prehnite from Combe de la Selle or epidote from Cornillon, which continue to fascinate crystal hunters and collectors alike.
The "Minéraux des Alpes" exhibition revives this fascinating history, which has made Bourg d'Oisans a reference center for mineralogy.
