A night on the Emparis plateau

This is an electric mountain bike ride in one of the most beautiful areas of Oisans. We'll take you on a real mountain bike ride that will blow your mind!

The programme involves a late afternoon ride up to the Emparis Plateau.
At this time of day, you'll be able to take full advantage of the peace and quiet and the wildlife of the area. On arrival at the refuge, at an altitude of 2200m, soak up the enchanting atmosphere and admire the panoramic view of the surrounding glaciers and peaks. The evening meal will be an opportunity to taste local specialities before a well-deserved night's sleep. The next day, after a hearty mountain breakfast, we'll start the descent. We have 2 options: Either a superb singletrack that will leave you grinning from ear to ear at the bottom. Or a very smooth riding and accessible route.

Difficulty: You must be comfortable on your bike and master all the basic mountain bike techniques (balance, gear shifting, pedalling, braking, trajectory, etc.).

Terrain: We ride on easy and wide tracks to enjoy the landscape, or, if you like, technical high altitude trails.

Schedule: Departure at 4pm and return the next day around 11am.

Elevation gain: 1000m for a total of 30km.

Equipment: Sports shoes, sun cream, sunglasses and windbreaker. Don't forget to take water and cereal bars. Sleeping bag liner or duvet, rucksack and toiletries.

Minimum age: 12 years
