You’ll find hiking trails for all levels of ability around Villard-Notre-Dame. There are some examples here, but for even more ideas, head to one of the Tourist Offices and get your hands on the guidebook “l’Oisans aux Bout des Pieds”.
Family-friendly hiking trails such as the loop to Villard-Reymond, or to the Croix du Carrelet. More sporty itineraries with the steep trail from Romanche Valley along the Chemin de la Cascade or via the Gardette Mines. Or the mountaineering routes around the impressive Rochail. Or why not venture up the trail to the Cabane des Sources for an overnight stay.
