Maurice will be looking for... A second chance.
One October evening in 1960. Maurice broke down on a country road. It was pouring rain. He took refuge in the nearest house in the hope of finding shelter and calling a tow truck. But the storm intensified and the phone wouldn't ring.
Maurice will have to stay longer than expected. This evening will be the most disturbing of his life. So much so that he will think about it for a long time.
