Glacier hike: tour of the 3 passes

From Alpe d'Huez, take the Pic Blanc cable car to the Grand Sablat glacier at 3330m.
Head for the Col de la Pyramide, to reach the Col de l'Impossible and finish this beautiful loop at the Col du Grand Sablat. A magnificent 360° panorama!
This route offers magnificent panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and massifs. Splendid!
(Beginner - Physical condition: good walker - good physical condition)

Equipment provided: technical equipment (harness, ice axes, crampons, helmet).

Equipment to bring: rigid high-top hiking boots (can be rented from the "La Montagne Sports" store in Bourg d'Oisans) + pants + windbreaker or fleece + thin gloves + hat + poles - + backpack with water (min 1l/pers.) + picnic + sun cream.
