Home Garden of Lautaret
Alpine Station deploys its activities on the Lautaret pass, with the Lautaret Alpine Botanical Garden, the Chalet-laboratory and brand new Alpe Gallery. This summer, come to visit one of Europe's most beautiful garden !
The Alpine Joseph Fourier Station missions, are for the development of research platforms, maintenance of botanical collections, student training and popular science to the general public.
Plant seeds, maps, books and posters are for sale in the shop and perennials at the entrance of the Garden.
An exhibition about the botanist and physician dauphinois Dominique Villars will take place during the Summer in the new gallery of the Alpe on the Lautaret pass area.
- Free for children under 12 - Guided tours daily from June to August: 10:30; 14:30 and 16:00. - Thanks to a partnership with two nurserymen, the Alpine Garden of Lautaret offers each Summer of Perennials for sale. - With the entry ticket of the Alpine Garden, you'll have a reduced price for a cable car des Glaciers de la Meije pass and vice versa!

NB: free or discounted entry at the beginning and end of the season (depending on the flowering)

Located at the Lautaret pass,15 minutes far from Villar d'Arene and 20 minutes from La Grave The Alpine Gallery and it Alpe Gallery are located 10 minutes walk from the parking at top of the Lautaret pass. Possible access by car and bus.
