ALPINE SkiING

Alpe d’Huez is one of the iconic ski areas of the Alps. Enjoy differences in altitude of up to 2,200 m, between the Pic Blanc (3,300 m) and Enversin d’Oz (1,100 m). Some iconic slopes such as the Sarenne, the longest in Europe, at a length of 16 km, or the Tunnel slope that crosses through the mountain (really!). The slopes wind across the varied terrain, through forests, across hilly plateaus and steep mountainsides, for a fun and diverse skiing experience.
And we haven’t even mentioned the fun areas with the oh so popular Marcel Farm slope!

Ski-TOURING

The Permanente du Radar is a special ski-touring slope with exceptional views, perfect for an introduction to ski-touring (Signal sector).

CROSS-COUNTRY SkiING

With 3 loops (blue and red) and 28 km of slopes, enjoy this varied cross-country skiing area, suitable for all levels of ability and all techniques (skating or alternative), far from the ski lifts.

WALKS AND SNOWSHOE HIKES

35 km of pedestrian trails for walks or snowshoe hikes, with or without a guide. These trails are clearly marked and dotted with benches. They will lead you far away from it all, to a place where the atmosphere and landscapes are… just magical!

Are you not really into skiing?

Winter at Alpe d’Huez is also about…

Ski-joering, pulled through the snow by a horse, with skis on your feet and a harness in your hands, choose an easy-going ride or gallop across the snow, the wind on your cheeks!

Toboggan run on tracks, all-season 1-km toboggan run on tracks, lit up, with some thrilling bends, waves, twists, turns and tunnels… The virtual reality glasses will make this an even crazier descent.

Dog-sledding, a dog-sledding experience will take you on a Nordic adventure along the pedestrian trails. Be at one with nature, with the animals and the beautiful Alpine landscapes.

Ice cave, at an altitude of 2,700 m, 2 high-mountain guides shape some magical works of art into the ice every year.
