Private shelter “Rif Tort”

The hut has 3 dormitories (19 places) with sanitary facilities (2 toilets, 1 shower), a large dining room with a wood stove, a kitchen with a gas cooker (2 ovens, 5 burners), a fridge and a gas water heater.

There are many hikes starting from the hut, including the Pic du Mas de la Grave and the Gros Têt. Come and enjoy a unique experience among the mountain pastures, marmots and sheep. The hut is rented out as a self-catering gîte for a weekend, several days or a week. In June and July it is a beautiful natural alpine garden. At the end of July and in August and September, you can go to see the shepherds and their flocks. From the hut's terrace, you can enjoy unforgettable sunrises and sunsets over the Meije and the Rateau, the iconic peaks of the Ecrins National Park. In the morning you will be woken up by the marmots. Your holiday in the mountains will be unforgettable!
