An exhibition that sheds light on the biggest hydroelectric construction site ever built by the French electricity company 'EDF', and explains all about hydroelectric energy.
The exhibition houses photos and information panels explaining the stages of development of the construction site. There is a film highlighting the important work that was done to strengthen the rock-face in preparation for the site, and another film underlining the potential hazards linked to rising water around the structure. A visit to the exhibition emphasizes the importance of the work for the Romanche valley at the same time as explaining all about hydroelecticity.
