Yesterday's professions required gestures that took a long time to learn through manual knowledge handed down from generation to generation. From the blacksmith's hammer to the paddle of the butter churn, this exhibition conveys the emotions of these trades of yesteryear.

Description: Yesterday's professions

Towns and villages used to be filled with travelling craftsman, people replacing the straw in seats, blacksmiths, tooth removers and road menders. Come and learn more about these trades and the traditions of the past.

This is a throwback to a time when we didn't shop in supermarkets, but instead bought clothing, leather and food made by neighbours and local producers.

Opening periods

From 17/01 to 03/03/2020, daily.

Free of charge.
