Discover the history of the building, from its construction during the Great War, to the industrial development of the Livet village. During the war, it was necessary to supply electrical energy to produce weapons. In September 1918, after a quick construction, the Vernes hydroelectric plant was commissioned at the Livet village. Its creator, Charles-Albert Keller, wanted a prestigious industrial architecture. By his genius, this great industrial man has shaped the landscape and the heritage of the Livet village.
