This Museum located in the heart of the mountains depicts both the history of mountaineering in the Écrins massif and the strong emotions aroused by this activity, which is synonymous with adventure, commitment, passion and freedom.

Descriptif Museum of Mountaineering Memories

In the heart of St Christophe, a stone's throw away from the cemetery which is the resting place of famous mountain guides of the Bérarde and Vénéon regions, as well as a number of well-known mountaineers, the museum is open to all mountain enthusiasts. It comprises six rooms covering over 400m², including the temporary "Snow and Ice" exhibition.
