About : Auris Music Festival
For its second edition, the AURIS MUSIC FESTIVAL offers an eclectic programme for all ages.
In an aim to share music both of today and yesteryear, the tourist office and its events team have invited 7 groups to play on 3 evenings. During the festival, you will also be able to enjoy a fireworks display to celebrate France's National Holiday on Monday 13 July!
2pm: " PURE VINTAGE" at La Bucherie
→ A musical and vintage gourmet café:
Pure Vintage Music Live Premium is a collective created to sublimate events in an elegant atmosphere. It features two voices with a genuine vocal signature and two multi-instrumentalist musicians who play international hits in vintage versions.
A totally atypical and innovative musical event!
5.30pm: " SECOND HAND" at Le Beau Site
→ This band was created when two professional musicians happened to meet.
The band's sound ranges from the blues to country folk and bluegrass. The vocals are accompanied by guitars, a banjo, mandolin and drums. Instruments and moods shift in the hands of the duo, who invite you to a journey featuring the sound of a Son House slide guitar, accents of John Lee Hooker and the banjos and mandolins of popular American songs.
8pm: " IMPRINT OF RYTHM " at the Auberge de la Forêt
→ "Imprint of rhythm" is aptly named. For this new duo project, Laurent Darmon gets together with Hervé Humbert, with his beats per minute and an idea per second. Between the pianist's rock'n'roll left hand and the drummer's impeccable beat, the combination inevitably gets your foot tapping. (TOMBAD, JUAN ROZOFF...)
6.30 pm: " LOU " at L'Etoile d'Or
→ French and traditional songs
A young singer full of energy and talent from our mountains!
9.30pm: "DIDONE & CO " at Le Schuss
→ Travelling beyond boundaries ... Didone is a singer beyond borders. Enriched by his various influences and amazing encounters (including Bobby Mc Ferrin and Sinclair), Didone gives a colourful meaning to his soul music.
Surrounded by 3 talented musicians, all professionals for more than 20 years, this band plays covers of hits by James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, Prince and Joe Cocker... all with energy and joie de vivre.
7pm: "CHARLY" at the Pump&Drink
→ A young local singer and his guitar provides a delightful concert. Traditional French songs.
8pm: "Parhélie" at Odalys
→ A different look at the world with a desire to move hearts and bodies. Parhélie represents a style of music that has no limits, taking you on a journey that is influenced by Afro, Pop, soul and electro funk. Their sole aim is to take you with them for a waking dream.
