Tour of La Meije

The mighty Meije is the most stunning mountain of the Oisans mountain range. The tour of La Meije involves all the exciting elements of ski touring in the high
mountain environment. Descending steep couloirs, traversing high passes, crossing vast glaciers, not to mention spending nights in warm refuges perched high in the mountains, makes this trip an unforgettable journey around the Râteau and the Meije.

D1: Col de la Lauze, Brèche du Râteau, Promontoire hut.

D2: Brèche de la Meije, Serret du Savon, Aigle hut.

D3: Ascent of the Meije Orientale , and descent on Tabuchet or Homme Glacier.

It is possible to do this as a 2 day tour.

La Grave – Chamonix
